Tonometer – Bezold’s Continuous Series of Tuning Forks

The otologist Friedrich Bezold designed this series of tuning forks for testing hearing through a continuous series of sounds. The acoustical maker and physicist Max Thomas Edelmann’s firm made these precision series of forks that were sold around the world for speech and hearing research and clinical practice.
